Hydration with Hyaluronic Cream
Well-balanced formulations are essential for helping skin maintain optimum levels of hydration. The most effective moisturizers contain an emulsion of humectants, emollients and occlusives that work synergistically to build layers of moisture from the inside out. This formulation was designed to provide the skin with each of these:
• A humectant, like hyaluronic acid, is a water-based ingredient that draws moisture from its environment to the surface of the skin. By nature, their job is to increase the water content of the skin.
• Emollients, such as squalane and jojoba seed oil, lock in the humectants, while nourishing, conditioning and providing extra moisture for softer skin.
• Occlusives are ingredients that form a micro-seal on skin’s surface to lock in both humectants and emollients. Some ingredients, such as apricot kernel oil, have both emollient and occlusive properties.
Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate)Known for its ability to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water, Hyaluronic Acid is a humectant that draws moisture into the skin. Sodium Hyaluronate is the purest form of water soluble hyaluronic acid, and is easily absorbed to replenish skin’s hydration levels.
Squalane Our plant-derived squalane works to deeply moisturize. It is biologically close to skin’s own sebum, which makes it an excellent emollient.
Jojoba Seed Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) This natural element supports healthy skin cells, promotesfirmness and elasticity, and reduces the appearance ofwrinkles.
Apricot Kernel Oil (Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil) Made from the seeds of apricots, apricot kernel oil is a light yet effective moisturizer, that works well with all skin types to deliver hydration.
